Denise Tift

Denise began her career with The Arc New London County in 2005 when she was hired part time as a life skills instructor.  Her interpersonal skills, compassion and her willingness to learn led Denise to join the Arc full time and eventually become a Supervisor for the In-Home Supports (IHS) Department. During her time in IHS, Denise developed programs to facilitate The Arc’s mission.

As The Arc continued to grow, Denise’s dedication and vision led to her appointment as Director of Community Life & Advocacy before becoming The Arc NLC's Director of Community Outreach.  She brings with her a great team spirit and a natural sense of people.

Denise has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management. She is married and has four grown daughters.  She loves spending her free time with her four grandchildren.  Denise loves to travel when the opportunity arises.
