Transportation by The Arc New London County is accessible to persons with disabilities. Some of The Arc New London County’s vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts that enable persons in wheelchairs or persons who cannot navigate steps to ride. Operators are trained to assist riders to use lifts and secure wheelchairs. You may travel with your respirator, concentrator, and portable oxygen. Service animals are welcome on board vehicles. Public information is available in alternative formats upon request.
Reasonable Modification Policy
Passengers with disabilities may request modifications to current service procedures to access the service. To make a request, please call us at 860.889.4435 x119 or email us at info@thearcnlc.org. Please submit requests at least the day before the trip. The Arc New London County will not charge additional fees for passengers requiring reasonable modifications.
