In-Home Supports

The Arc New London County’s In-Home Supports program provides individualized supports within the home to enhance an individual’s ability to live in his or her own home or with a family in our Southeastern Connecticut community.

All participants in our In-Home Supports program receive 1:1 direct care staffing, or a one-person-per-participant ratio.

Supports may include teaching and reinforcing life skills such as money management and personal care as well as providing recreation and community opportunities.  Staff may also provide medical support, relationship enhancement and transportation.

Funding for this program is awarded to individuals or families through the Department of Developmental Services or through private citizen payment. Billing and payment is overseen by a fiscal intermediary.
